Twilight starred down the blue ram. There were quite a few things going on, but this 'Grogar' was probably the most dangerous one in the room... Well, all things considered Discord may very well be the most dangerous one in the room, but seeing as he was supposedly on their side it was best to focus on Grogar. Then, betrayal. Twilight had expected treachery from Discord, but not from Utopia! Her eyes went wide for a second, but she tried not to gasp. What was Utopia talking about? Her true self and gaining more power, was that her true goal all along? Now that she thought of it, Utopia had been part of the reason they were all here to begin with. Had it all been a trap?
Then, quick as a flash, Utopia had been struck down Twilight wasn't sure how to feel. If she had been faster, perhaps she could have put up a shield to save Utopia, but the mare had just tried to betray them. Still, she hadn't ever been the type to just let somepony suffer, especially not at the hooves of somepony like Grogar.
When Tiramisu piped up Twilight was jolted back to the situation at hand. She'd allowed herself to be distracted by her own thoughts, and needed to focus. Twilight looked into the ram's eyes and stood proudly. While she didn't quite agree with everything the dragon had said, this wasn't the time to argue.
"As long as I know my friends are out there fighting I'm not going to lose hope! Even if we're apart, we still stand together! You may have control over misery, but as long as we stay true to the magic of friendship, there's no way you can win!" Twilight spoke from her heart and spread her wings boldly. While some may just think she did so for dramatic effect, there was another more practical reason as well. Bray had mentioned the torches on the wall before, that blowing them out would somehow send them home. Well, she wasn't sure exactly how the magic worked, but it was worth a try. If she could send even one of them back to warn everypony it would be worth the gamble.
As quick as a flash she flew over to the torches and kicked up a huge gust of wind with her wings. She wasn't sure which torch was for which pony, so she was hoping to simply blow them all out at once. Hopefully that would mean Utopia would awaken too so they could question her. She wasn't quite sure how to help Bray, but considering Discord was here she assumed he could take care of things.

After being plungered into nightmares however... Utopia didn't seem to suffer at all. Was she smirking?! Yes... She smirked even in the induced slumber. There got to be something off... But one would have to undrerstand her dream world for that... And her mind as well. To a greater extent, one would have to know her past as a whole.
Nightmares used to feed her when she was a changeling, it was nothing for her to be afraid. She had been so used to nightmares that there was not a single reason for her to fear, to suffer in them...
"My only fear... Has already happened...", she spoke in her sleep, "You are way late... Horns... Way late..."

Bray went slack-jawed when his master arrived and quickly put him and the ponies in their places. There was no possible way Grogar should have found out about this! He had gone through painstaking effort to make it so! Someone had to have ratted him out to the boss...But who? Was it Discord? One of the Troggles? Discord seemed a likely candidate for any kind of twist or turn in anypony's plans, but he hadn't seemed to care too much about anything but relaxing.
Bray cringed and hugged onto the pony next to him for dear life: Miss Blossom. "Hehehe...Well...At least the last pony I'll touch before I die a terrible and most gruesome death is a foxy mare..."
Miss Blossom put her hoof to Bray's forehead and lightly pushed him off of her. She was going to keep her mouth shut, as well as keep her composure through all this. No responses unless provoked or requested. That was the way to behave during a school lockdown, and she knew that kind of attitude would be applicable to something like this. Even though she was quiet and calm, she was carefully paying attention to what was going on around her. Utopia's attempt at betrayal ended up backfiring, and Twilight's gusts put the torches out, leaving the room dark except for the faint light coming through the window and Grogar's glowing eyes.
Surely Discord would do something to save all of them, right? No, Discord was gone from the scene entirely. However, Spike began to feel a burning sensation in his stomach. It felt sort of like the feeling that came before he coughed up a letter, but a bit stronger. A sudden pang of pain throbbed in Spike's belly, bringing him to his knees. He coughed a couple of times, clutching his stomach.
Though the torches swayed and flickered, indeed, even though their light was out momentarily, they did not go out, in fact, they had sprung back, still the same shade of eerie purple. Grogar looked from Twilight to the prone mare, and... rolled his eyes?
"Always with the defiance..."
Grogar closed his eyes, and sighed, only for them to open, massive amounts of dark lightning striking everypony save Bray on the chest.
He then looked to Utopia, and growled. "Begone, worm."
His bells glowed, and then the space around her seemed to distort as he thrust Utopia's dream self from Tambelon.
"Now then, servant... You and I shall have words later."

Was she back to Twilight's library? Was she not? She did not care. She was using this forced slumber to regain her strength and also to wander within her dream world, seeking something among her memories that could be use, knowing that the enemy was something new to her, as well as that mysterious place.
How long she would sleep? Who knows... She hadn't gone to the depths of her memories in a good while, and she had attempted to secure them from a possible intruder such as Grogar. But who knows how deep he went in her little world?!
